Meet Your WHS Expert
Darren Lane is a highly regarded WHS professional with over 20 years of WHS experience from all sides of the compliance landscape, senior WHS roles within organisations, six years as an NSW safety regulator inspector and more than two decades as an independent WHS consultant in workplace health and safety.
He holds a bachelor’s degree in occupational health and safety and is certified as an ISO 45001 Lead Auditor.
In 2023, Darren was appointed the independent WHS expert to the NSW Bus Industry Safety Taskforce by the Minister of Transport following the Hunter Valley coach incident.
He specialises in WHS system design, WHS risk management, post incident reviews and independent expert reports and factual reviews for legal matters.
